Dr. Sam Kent is a highly experienced emergency veterinarian who has served San Diego County for over a decade. Before joining VEG Encinitas, she worked as the Director of Emergency Services and Internship Director at a 24-hour hybrid GP/ER hospital. Her clinical interests include transfusion medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, and leadership development in emergency veterinary medicine. Dr. Kent is honored to have helped launch the very first VEG hospital in California.
